Payments

We do not take credit or debit cards but do accept cheques and payment by direct bank transfer.  Details of payment are on our booking form which you can download with the link above.  If you have any questions contact us using the e-mail link above.

 

Changeover days

Willows and Rafters cottages changeover on a Saturday.

Buddleia, Dovecote, Honeysuckle and The Owlery start on a Friday.

Short breaks usually start at the end of October and finish by Easter – however we do have special offers from time to time and these are shown on our Prices & Availability page. Short breaks can either be over a weekend or mid-week – please ask for more information if you have specific dates.

 

Guest Information

Arrival time is after 4pm. Check out time is 10am – later on a Sunday but please check when booking.

We supply a kitchen towel and hand towel in each cottage.

Our prices include VAT, heating, electricity, linen and one complementary basket of logs for cottages with woodburners. Further baskets of logs can be bought from the Farmhouse (subject to availability).  A set of towels per guest (one hand, one bath towel) is supplied, free of charge, in Honeysuckle and The Owlery. 

For guests booking other cottages towels can be ordered in advance at a cost of £4 per set (one hand and one bath towel per set). Please advise number of sets on booking form and pay with cottage balance as we cannot guarantee to supply towels without notice.

Beds are made up for guests’ arrival.

Cots (either a travel cot or a standard wooden cot) & highchairs can be requested at the time of booking – free of charge.

Depending on the size, breed and age we allow up to 2 dogs in Willows, and requests for more than 1 dog are considered
on a booking by booking basis for the other cottages.  Dogs may not be left unattended in the cottages at any time.

- Once you have made an enquiry about availability and asked us to reserve the cottage please print off, read and keep a copy of our Terms and Conditions which can be found above.

- Please then print off, complete and sign the Booking Form which can be found above, remembering to include your deposit or full payment.

- We will then confirm the booking in writing and send you further information about the cottages, the area and directions.

 

For our overseas visitors

We provide a set of towels (one bath and one hand towel) per person - free of charge.

You can pay by direct bank transfer – please ask for our IBAN and BIC number when you make your reservation.  Please remember to include enough payment to cover the cost of an international money transfer, usually in the region of £12 per transaction.

We can give you car-hire company names and telephone numbers on request.
