The cottage is so comfortable and tastefully furnished - we have loved it.

Buddleia has an open-plan ground floor.  The sitting room area features a brick fireplace and surround with woodburner, bookshelves, settle, digital TV, DVD player, Ipod player with FM radio, sofas and coffee tables; the dining area has a circular table and chairs; and the kitchen area, with slate flooring, is fully equipped with ceramic hob, electric oven, and microwave. There is a storage heater and convector heater on the ground floor. The downstairs bathroom has a shower cubicle, toilet, vanity unit and electric fan heater.

Upstairs the main bedroom looks out into the garden with a double bed, armchair and coffee table. The second bedroom has two single beds. Both bedrooms have night storage heaters.

There is a rockery and curved stone steps leading the the stable-style front door.  The garden is to the side of the cottage, with a wooden picnic table, a large shrub border, and mostly level lawn surrounded by a high hedge and trees. There is also a garden gate connecting to Dovecote’s garden and to the orchard. Buddleia is attached to Dovecote.
